About This Project
The goal of the SEO engagement for Chocadelic was to strengthen organic search visibility, refine keyword targeting, and build a scalable SEO foundation tailored for an e-commerce Shopify store. The focus was on maximizing organic traffic from relevant search queries, enhancing on-site search visibility for featured products, and improving technical SEO performance to support long-term digital growth.
SEO Challenges
As an online store built on Shopify, the primary SEO challenges included:
- Structured SEO limitations due to Shopify platform constraints: Shopify’s fixed URL patterns and content hierarchy can limit flexibility in customizing SEO-friendly pathways without additional development or plugins.
- Duplicate content issues: By default, Shopify can generate multiple URLs for similar product or collection pages, potentially confusing search engines if canonicalization isn’t properly configured.
